What I offer
I am a qualified, BACP Accredited Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering walk and talk counselling, online counselling via Zoom or WhatsApp and telephone counselling.

I believe deeply in trust, safety and feeling heard and offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space that gives clients a place to talk through a wide range of issues; some of which include grief/loss, relationship problems, domestic abuse, self-esteem and identity issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and PTSD/Trauma.

I offer a free initial 20 minute session as I understand that it is important you feel comfortable with the counselling experience. It also gives us both the opportunity to get to know each other, start to build the therapeutic relationship and for you to decide whether I am the best fit for what you need.

Walk and Talk Counselling
Walk and talk comes with the benefits of enjoying the outdoors, getting some exercise whilst accessing counselling at the same time. It is also a good alternative to meeting online giving you the opportunity to see me in person.
It may be that working between walk and talk and online or telephone would work for you. This can be discussed at the free initial consultation should you wish.

Each walk will last about an hour and the pace of the walk will be chosen by you.
I offer walk and talk from where I live, so please get in touch should this be of interest to you and we can discuss this further.
Online or Telephone Counselling
Why choose online or telephone counselling?
-
Clients often worry that this way of working is not as effective as face-to-face therapy however research has suggested that its effectiveness is no different.

-
Online/telephone counselling offers clients the flexibility in their busy lives to be able to access the support that they need within a comfortable, safe space of their own without the need to travel.

-
It can also offer flexibility to those clients who work shifts as well as those who work from home.

-
It offers clients the ability to schedule in more sessions should they be required.

-
This way of working also means help and support is accessible for people with physical limitations.
